Logline

Synopsis
Lena Marlowe has spent twenty-five years knowing exactly who her father was — and knowing that he chose another family over her.
Charles Bellamy was the patriarch of Bellamy Estate, a prestigious family vineyard and wine empire built over generations. His affair with Lena’s mother, a young employee at the estate, produced the daughter the Bellamys preferred to pretend never existed.
Lena and her mother disappeared from their world. Charles remained with his wife and raised three legitimate heirs.
Then Charles dies.
Lena reluctantly returns to Bellamy Estate for his funeral and will reading, expecting perhaps an apology from beyond the grave — or enough money to make his conscience disappear with him.
Instead, Charles leaves Lena controlling ownership of Bellamy Estate. His widow is stunned. His children are furious. And Lena becomes the most powerful person in a family that never wanted her to belong.
