Logline

Seven days before marrying the man who finally made her life feel safe, Sophie Mercer begins receiving one anonymous revelation each day connecting her fiancé to her sister’s mysterious death. As a man from Claire’s past returns and both families begin to unravel, Sophie must discover who has been lying to her before she walks down an aisle toward a future built on secrets.

Synopsis

Sophie Mercer has spent eight years rebuilding her life after the death of her older sister, Claire.

Now she is seven days away from marrying Ethan Cole—the dependable, successful man who represents everything Sophie believes she finally deserves after years of uncertainty.

Then an anonymous message arrives: “Before you marry Ethan Cole, ask him where he was the night your sister died.”

Ethan has always told Sophie he never met Claire. He lied.

As the wedding approaches, Sophie receives one new revelation each day. The messages connect Claire’s final hours to Ethan, Noah Reed—Claire’s former boyfriend—and secrets buried inside both the Cole and Mercer families.

Noah returns after eight years away carrying a version of Claire’s death Sophie has never heard. Ethan insists he loved Claire only as someone he was trying to help. Noah insists Ethan’s family was the reason Claire was afraid. And Sophie begins discovering that even her mother concealed information after Claire’s death.
