Forced into hiding with all three men, Sienna must discover why they are lying for her before the real killer reaches her first.
Synopsis
Sienna Hart has made a career out of being invisible in rooms full of powerful people.
As a private events coordinator, she notices what wealthy guests assume nobody sees—the arguments behind closed doors, the lovers slipping away from dinner, and the security detail that suddenly changes.
At an exclusive event at billionaire Conrad Ashford’s coastal estate, the power suddenly fails. Sienna enters Conrad’s private study and finds him dying.
His blood gets on her clothes. Her fingerprints end up on evidence. Security footage places her outside the study. And with his final strength, Conrad grips her wrist and whispers: “Don’t trust the one who says he loves you.”
By morning, Sienna is the prime suspect.
Then something impossible happens. Three men separately insist she couldn’t have murdered Conrad because she was with them at the exact time he died.
Detective Luca Reyes, the investigator assigned to a case that looks almost too perfectly constructed against her. Rowan Ashford, Conrad’s estranged son, who publicly despised his father and argued with him only hours before his death. And Theo Rourke, Conrad’s former head of security—and the man Sienna once came dangerously close to trusting.
None of them was actually with her. All three are lying.
When an attempt is made on Sienna’s life, it becomes clear that whoever killed Conrad isn’t satisfied with framing her. They need her dead.
With information from the police investigation potentially reaching the murderer, Sienna is moved to a secure property once maintained by Conrad. Theo takes her there. Rowan refuses to stay away. And Luca’s decision to protect Sienna threatens both his investigation and his career.

Luca Reyes — The Detective
Controlled, principled and observant. Luca initially approaches Sienna as a suspect, but quickly realizes the evidence against her appears almost deliberately perfect. Then he jeopardizes his career by giving her an alibi he knows is false. With Luca, attraction grows through something Sienna rarely gives anyone: trust. He represents safety—until she discovers his connection to Conrad goes deeper than he admitted.
Rowan Ashford — The Son
Charismatic, reckless and openly furious with the father he spent years trying to escape. Rowan argued with Conrad shortly before the murder and has one of the strongest motives in the case. Sienna doesn’t trust him. Rowan doesn’t believe she is telling him everything. Their relationship begins in conflict and develops into volatile attraction. He represents desire. And he may be the man she should trust least.
Theo Rourke — The Protector
Quiet, highly capable and difficult to read. Theo previously served as Conrad Ashford’s head of security before leaving under unexplained circumstances. He and Sienna already share unresolved history—and an attraction neither completely confronted. Theo understands her without demanding explanations. He represents understanding.
